It’s winter and it’s time to pull out all of the blankets in the back of the closet. In all honesty, many of us have piles of blankets in our possessions so why am I suggesting these blankets below?
Well, for starters, we often keep blankets around that are torn, itchy, or just plain don’t do the job. Blanket’s sole purpose is to keep us warm right? And I’ll bet that you own a few that don’t live up to that comfy, cozy standard!
So, for today, I thought it’d be a good idea to list some of my favorite, comfy blankets below!

Bedsure Fleece Throw Blanket
Fleece blankets may be my weakness around the wintertime. Not only are they warm, but they’re as soft as a feather! This fleece blanket by Bedsure is inexpensive and perhaps the coziest blanket I own! It comes in a beautiful neutral grey color that suits practically any decorum.
I personally prefer to keep this one on my bed since it warms you up quickly. It’s a great blanket for the cold, chilly months of winter and perfect for cozying up for a movie night in bed.
Waowoo Weighted Blanket
Alright, you had to see it coming. I used to think that weighted blankets were a silly fad…until I got one. This weighted blanket by Waowoo is the best purchase I’ve made in a long time. It’s heavy and soft which is exactly what you want in a good weighted blanket.
Weighted blankets have been tested to aid in healing anxiety, sleep apnea, and depression. It’s interesting that weighted blankets can simulate the presence of a person and offer a sense of comfort that you may be unable to achieve elsewhere. What really stands out to me about weighted blankets is how soothing they are. They’re comfortable and cozy and almost always lull you to sleep!
Furthermore, this particular blanket is fairly inexpensive. Most weighted blankets can be costly and tend to take a good chunk from your wallet. This one finds a good balance between cost and quality and overall is probably one of the better blankets out there.
Utopia Cotton Blanket
While cotton isn’t always the softest blanket, it still provides warmth and cozy vibes. Utopia’s cotton blanket is light and breathable, so if you’re the kind of person who favors lots of heaters and fireplaces in your home, this is the blanket for you!
Cotton blankets are a great option for bedding because you’re less likely to sweat as much when sleeping with this material. Furthermore, they’re still warm and cozy while also allowing your body the freedom to cool down if you get too hot.
I mentioned heaters and fireplaces because I know tons of people like those as sources of heat outside just blankets and pillows. And cotton is a great fabric for those situations because, again, it’s breathable!
Ukeler Flannel Sherpa Throw Blanket
If you’ve been following me on YouTube or Instagram, you know that my home is styled with a lot of bohemian inspiration. The Ukeler Flannel Sherpa is a beautiful multicolored flannel throw blanket with stunning patterns and designs.
I really love the print and vibrant colors. While they can be quite loud, it fits the bohemian aesthetic seamlessly. Moreover, this blanket is made of a flannel material so it’s durable, soft, and warm as can be! Flannel blankets and sheets have sort of taken the world by storm the past few years and for good reason!
Flannel makes crawling into bed warm and cozy and it’s a great material for cold and snowy nights!
EverOne Wool Blanket
While wool isn’t exactly my favorite material when it comes to blankets, it’s the best material for camping, excursions to the mountains, and trips to places like Glacier National Park. This is because wool is a resistant material that retracts fire and water, making it a great treat to bring on family outings.
While wool blankets are itchy, they are fantastic at trapping in heat. I’ve found that wool blankets are great for long car rides and winter vacations. But they’re also a great middle layer for bedding, providing heat and security to you as you snuggle up beneath the sheets! This wool blanket by EverOne is a great option for someone who wants a sturdy, cozy blanket in their lives! I did my best to find the exact wool blanket I had but was unable to. This blanket, however, is a close match and I’m sure it’ll function just the same, if not better!
