Virgo
(August 23 – September 22)
Virgo is an analytical and practical sign that places value on organization, logic, and responsibility.
They are often the person you go to for sound and rational advice since they pride themselves in their intellectuality and honesty.
The colors for Virgo are purple, white, and pale blue.

Virgo showcases elements of modesty, order, and altruism. The symbol of a Virgo is the virgin to represent the sign’s feminity. There is also reason to believe that Virgo is closely associated with the virgin goddess Athena in Greek mythology or the Roman equivalent, Minerva. This is a feminine sign that loves to be critical. The people of this sign are honest friends who have an eye for detail.
Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury
The planet Mercury is often associated with the Greek god, Hermes. Mercury is the planet of communication. As a ruling planet for Virgo, Mercury highlights the sign’s socialability. While most Virgo’s are quite introverted (their Tarot representation is The Hermit for a reason!) they love to converse with others about new ideas. They enjoy deep conversation, intellectual banter, and debates.

Virgo is an Earth Sign
Earth signs feel a strong sense of duty and place great importance on stability. They are careful and rarely take risks, though these signs love to indulge in the finer aspects of life. They are often stubborn and wary of change. They prefer to remain grounded in reality.
