Best Christmas Decor Ideas from Target

Christmas is right around the corner and you’re probably getting ready for your family get-togethers, parties, and more. (Albeit safely of course!)

Still, whether you’re hosting a party or not, Christmas decor is a great way to get into the festive holiday spirit. I’ve gathered some of my favorite Target decorations to help you get an idea of how you can make your home cozy and charming this holiday season.

Before we launch into it, I did want to acknowledge that, yes, Target is not the most sustainable. But in recent years, they’d taken on several ethical and environmentally friendly brands. While not everything on this list is completely organic and ethically made, each item is high quality and can last you years of seasonal fun which, is by far the most important factor.

Christmas themed pillows

By far my favorite holiday decor item is the classic Christmas pillow. Whether it is a simple plaid pillow, a fluffy white one, or a pillow with a cute Christmas saying on it, I absolutely adore them!

Target has a brand called Threshold which has several wonderful pillows. They’re durable and most are washing machine friendly. I’ll link a few below so you can browse some of my favorites.

Christmas mugs

For coffee lovers and cocoa enthusiasts alike, you can’t go wrong with a Christmas mug. Heck, I’d go so far as to say that you can’t have enough Christmas mugs.

Little fact here: I actually don’t own any Christmas mugs yet. It’s sad but true. I live in a small apartment with hardly any cabinet space, so having several mugs just wasn’t an option for me. However, I recently got a mug tree from a thrift store soI might just be able to squeeze some more mugs in the cabinet!

Below are some of the Christmas mugs I’ve had my eye on!

Small trees

Small trees are adorable and one of my favorite ways to decorate for Christmas. I love putting them on the living room and dining room tables, side tables, bookshelves, etc. I currently have two little trees. My silver one is from Target and I purchased small ornaments and lights from their dollar section for it. And the second is a button fabric tree that I thrifted.

I’ll share some of my favorite small Target trees below, but really, the dollar section is the best place to find them!

Centerpiece base

Okay, I really don’t know what to call this. But I like the idea of small trays and lazy susans in the center of a table with small ornaments and other holiday decor surrounding them. Let me know what these are called if you know, but for now, I’ll call them centerpiece bases!

I really love the ones made of wood with sleek metal wrapped around them or on the handles. I also really enjoy turning them into a mini cocoa bar or adding garland and candles to them!

Here are some links to some of my favorite trays below.

Wreaths

And of course, you truly can’t go wrong with wreaths. I have one for outside but this year, I’ve decided that I want a few inside as well. I’d love to tie up some garland on my wall and then place three wreaths in between each garland dip.

Wreaths are also great to place on doors, which is something I’ve also considered in my house. Since they’re inside, I’ll have to opt for some smaller ones, but thankfully, Target has some fantastic options!
