This month has been pretty busy for me so I haven’t done much reading. I’m still cranking through one of Deepak Chopra’s books. As a result, I haven’t started anything new since last month, unfortunately. (As you can see, this monthly reading plan of mine is going spectacularly. Ha!) Though, my lack of new content to read is likely due to the fact that I chose to set a 3 book reading goal for myself for the month of January. I will try to be more realistic in the future.
However, I will let you know of two different books I’ve been reading on-and-off since December. It’s not because they’re lengthy or uninteresting. It’s simply because they don’t satisfy certain reading needs of mine as of late.
Anyway, here they are and I hope this will suffice as a decent “what I’m reading this month” blog post!
A Court of Frost and Starlight
Author: Sarah J Maas
For next month, I’ll try to update with at least two or three different books that I’ve started or have read that I find really interesting and/or exciting. I highly recommend the two above if you’re looking for more fantasy and narrative types of stories. Sarah J Maas also has a longer series set in a different universe. The first book is titled Throne of Glass at t’s about an assassin attempting to gain her freedom (this is a really short, one-sentence summary and by no means gives this book r the series justice). I encourage you to look into Maas’ works. And of course you should check out the Once and Future King because it’s pretty awesome!
