And because I didn’t have a blog post for this (I’m awful) here is what I read in July!
I’ve read this book once or twice before but each time I go back, it hits me a little bit differently. Maybe that’s how we can measure our growth, by rereading old books and seeing on our emotional ties with them change and evolve.
I love the style of Peppernell’s poetry and it’s one of the first poetry collections I ever bought and actually cherished.
In truth, this is how I’ve been reading much of Peppernell’s work. Her Instagram (link here) showcases poetry spread across the entire Pillow Thoughts series. I don’t own books 2 & 3, therefore, I have to live vicariously through her Instagram. It’s beautiful and I think you should check her out.Love lasts by Savannah Totten
I was lucky enough to be a beta reader for this book (not sure if I was a very helpful beta reader, but at least I enjoyed it!). Love Lasts is an unpublished romance book (at the moment) by Savannah Totten. The book documents Totten’s romantic relationship with her current husband, from the moment they met up until present day.
The book is vastly different from the genres I normally read, however, I have to admit that I enjoyed the story very much.
I found the story to be very realistic and inspiring. Not only that, but it was a heartwarming real-life tale that encouraged me that qualms I face, I do not face alone.
That’s all I have for this post. It was more of an update than anything and that’s okay! I plan to do some more work and get another post out for you guys real soon!
Until then, be sure to check out some of my more recent posts below. And if you haven’t already, subscribe to my newsletter!
